So yeah. We pulled it off. Finally launched a full length album that completely reflected what I wanted to share. Thanks to everyone who dropped by last night at saGuijo Cafe + Bar Events despite the rain being heavy AF, you guys are the best. I’d also like to take this moment to appreciate and thank all the people who got involved for this thing to exist.
First, this launch wouldn’t be possible without the help of these 3 ladies:
Super thanks to Crizy. For the guidance and assistance during every step of the way. I’m glad you’re the one who manages this project. Also, thanks for being a real good friend. (And the book about drugs. Haha)
Of course, Jillian. For helping with the details of everything. From conceptualization to execution. And for always taking my photos. Haha. (Shout outs to Justine too)
And the birthday person, Madeline. For so much help in promoting and furnishing things for the launch. Solid.
To Em Sambayan for helping me with the mixing and mastering of the songs. I owe you big time Lord Em.
To Zom for the artworks. Man, solid. Sana next time sa iba ka na nakatambay pag magkachat tayo.
To Ida, for the writeups. Super thank you from the PH. Haha. Will send you a copy asap!
To the Fgmnts team, for being there and supporting our cause. We can do this guys, our battle’s only begun.
To the artists who performed last night. Guys, all your performances were heart melting. It’s so cool that I got to play with all of you. Em, Coeli, Migi, Andrew & Alei, Carla, Sam, and Erica. I hope all of you enjoyed your sets.
And yeah, Phoemela, thank you for introducing me to things I needed to know to be able to see things a little clearer. Without that little discussion about geometry and the universe we had, the album may not have ended like this. I love you. (Man, playing in front of you’s one of the best feelings in the world)
To my parents, schoolmates, ex coworkers, friends and strangers who came. Thank you so much. You’re all now part of a huge milestone in my life.
This is just the beginning of our continuous movement against suicide. We won’t stop here.
