This project has been in the works for quite a while now. I started making these after watching this film called ‘Waking Life’. It’s a sort of animated film about a nameless guy talking to different sorts of people in a seemingly random and surreal journey. The movie’s really trippy and somehow plotless at first but things make sense eventually. What fascinated me was the conversations the protagonist had with these interesting people. I clipped my favorite parts of the movie and inserted them to these tracks. Topics ranging from existentialism, post-humanity, social constructs, lucid dreaming and theories about what dreams are really meant for are what caught me in these dialogues.

This new EP is the first of a two part series which will revolve around the the movie. It’s called ‘Dream’ to represent what happens after after Consonance or Dissonance, what to do after being Vacant. Dreams, whether sleep induced or simply our aspirations are usually what we hold on to exist and I think it’s worth exploring and enjoying.
