It’s been a couple of years now since I last celebrated christmas. I guess I just lost my interest in the holiday as I grew up. It still feels nice to see everyone getting festive and giddy over presents and stuff though but I never really felt like participating. I only go home for the holidays because it’s my mom’s birthday.

Anyhow, though I may have lost the “spirit of christmas”, I still strongly believe in fantasies and that these things are the foundation of our realities. Without them imaginations running free, we may never have known the world of wonders we have now.

That being said, I covered a track for the holiday season before I go on break to represent this thought. It’s the intro track in Final Fantasy VII, one of my favorite PS games. Taught me a lot about life too.
