I got a 10 day vacation and relieved myself from the world for a while this holiday season and got a chance to do stuff I usually have less time to do like enjoy small things and just stay still.

This new EP represents those things. Catching up on books, enjoying a cup of tea, a bag of chips and a pack of smoke without the rush or whatever. It also represents the kinds of things we tend to think about when we have free time. ‘Vacant’, like a couple of works I did before, dwells upon being free and being empty. Having this free time made me consume and take things I needed to be better. Being empty doesn’t mean we’re useless or of no value, it means we can take in more and be better. That’s why most of the tracks here are a little more upbeat than what I used to make.

I’d like to greet the new year with that thought.
